He is a Senior Counsellor of the Law Society of the ACT.
Brian has played an important role in changing the ACT legal system for the better in his specialty areas of commercial leases and Powers of Attorney. He is a member and former chairman of the Society’s Commercial & Business Law Committee, and has been instrumental in making submissions to the ACT Government on the Powers of Attorney Act 2006.
Brian also chaired the Law Society’s committee that made extensive submissions to the ACT Government on changes to commercial leases.
Brian regularly presents seminars for Legalwise and the Law Society of the ACT on his areas of expertise, including practice management, commercial leases, estate planning and testamentary trusts.
Brian is married with four children. Outside of the law, his hobbies are golf, gardening and photography, which he pursues with much passion but arguably less talent!
