Emma is a personable and hard-working solicitor who is passionate about providing accurate, timely and effective legal advice to clients. She approaches all of her work with meticulous attention to detail and endeavours to ensure that her clients understand the processes involved and the various options available to them.
Emma has experience across all of Tetlow Legal’s practice areas, including:-

- ACT & NSW Residential and Commercial Conveyancing;
- Business Estate Planning;
- Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney;
- Retirement Villages;
- Aged Care;
- ACT & NSW Probate; and
- Deceased Estates (including administration).
Emma brings a caring approach to her work and understands the sensitivities that are felt by clients at difficult stages of their lives.
Emma is a current member and Acting Chair of the ACT Law Society’s Elder Law and Succession Law Committee. She is an active and vocal member of the Committee which is committed to raising awareness in the community about elder law and succession law issues.
Emma regularly gives talks and presentations to community and professional groups on Estate Planning, Aged Care, and Retirement Village living.
She also recently helped collaborate and pen the chapter on Wills and Estates in Austlii’s ACT Law Handbook which is due to be published in late 2018.
As part of her role with the Law Society Committee, Emma is a passionate advocate for legal reform, particularly in the space of elder law. As part of this advocacy, Emma is a contributing member of the ACT’s Retirement Villages Act Review Advisory Board. She has also recently led projects looking to reform the areas of Intestacy and Powers of Attorney.
In her spare time, Emma enjoys spending time with family and friends or curling up on the couch with a good book and hot chocolate in hand.
