An executor’s dossier is a document we give to clients when they update their Wills. It includes a list of questions about the assets you hold, to be regularly updated as those assets change.
Keeping an up to date executor’s dossier aids your executors in the administration of your estate – it is a good go-to point to know where important documents are kept. It also provides details of what assets you hold, as well as listing the important people to contact and potential beneficiaries of your estate.
We have recently updated our executor’s dossier to include a section to complete regarding your digital assets. With more and more assets existing purely online, there is an increasing need to make executors aware of the assets held there.
